About Me
Professional
I'm Alistair-Sinclair-Smith, a 2011 Marketing graduate who's since tried his hand in various fields; from customer service to data admin.
In recent years I've worked in SEO, mostly doing on-page optimisation. This is something I enjoyed but I've found coding to be an even better fit. Thus I'm actively building my skills and pursuing a new career in web development.
I've completed the responsive web design course on freeCodeCamp and am currently working on learning JavaScript.
Personal
I'm an empathetic person and am often pondering how to make life better for people. On top of my career ambitions I'd love to someday be in a position to have a greater positive influence on the world around me.
In my spare time I do a fair bit of baking (see picture below), which is appreciated by my friends and family who reap the rewards. For balance I also try to maintain an active lifestyle; with hobbies like football and bouldering helping this.
I also love to geek out and watch movies or play games. In 2020 I got into playing D&D over Zoom which has been a great way to safely maintain a social life during the pandemic.
